Finally I  have some material to share with you guys. First Ondarte show was a hit. My work got surprisingly good reception. I had work style panning between marker sketches, acrylic paintings and wood carving/sculptures. All in all, it was a good educational experience.

got to post something. So this seemed somewhat interesting shot. Yes, she was surprised when I popped out right next to her. Well... couple feet away.

Stay well.

I am finally getting the hang off GoPro.

Well, this day wouldn't be complete without a curious adult barracuda  wanting to investigate my yellow fins up close. Nothing to chomp on here buddy! move along! ... just go slow though.. .so I can take some good video of you. Eventually I will get into posting these videos. Just a frame captures for now.  Stay well.

Seven years old camera and $20 macro lens.

Not bad, huh? Unlucky hermit crab of the day. I pestered this poor, little being quite a while.

I think I was able to make up for all that none sense when I placed a piece of banana in her little claws. Rather than pinching me, got busy with the goods in no time. Look at those beautiful brown eyes and those long, dark eyelashes.  Welcome to SHOW business .....! ;) he! he! he!

OK one more... Check those antennas, man!

The view from the nook

My desk, the terrace and the treetops

It's a rainy day. Feels fresh. Good time to get some ideas moving. Well, that's about it for today. :) It will get better. Stay well.

ilk gün ( first day )

Not the first day in Akumal, but the first day of sharing what's brewing in my head. I have yet to sort out the motive behind it. In the meantime,  just a random clips of my days staying as a resident artist at Ondarte, Akumal, Mexico.

and the first sketch of  the Akumal Bay. ( trying to jot down a moment's motion with marker )

Well... that pretty much sums it up for today. As I get better with rounding up my thoughts in a suitable form for putting out here,  hopefully whimsical, thought provoking content will develop to keep the special few interested.

Thank you for your time and stay well.
